Johnny Gille
nv JohnGilleCo is situated at the heart of Belgian Limbourg. Its name sounds English, yet it is a Belgian company, founded as a one-man business in 1968 by John Gille Sr, whose origins are indeed English. In 1988, the company was turned into a limited liability company: nv JGC (JohnGilleCo).
John Gille started with the operation of amusement games in cafés. Since he was in direct touch with the clients, he was also the one who got the most feedback on faults in the design. He started to look for solutions himself, thus creating a basis for the development of the machines. After a certain time, this resulted in the production of café games.
In the course of the years, the range of products grew bigger. In 1990, the Belgian company 'Jupiter Table football' was taken over, with about the most qualitative table football games on the world market. By now, the range of in-house products consists of table football games and money changers. Next to this, JGC offers an extensive assortment of café games such as billiard tables, air hockeys and touchscreens.
JGC is at present a limited liability company managed by Johnny Gille with assistance of John Gille and his wife Anneliese Gabriëls. Together they run a staff of 17 people in a modern commercial building at Zutendaal.
